Bio
Sally von Rosen
Sally von Rosen (b. 1994, Gothenburg) is a Swedish artist based in Berlin. She studied philosophy at the University of Gothenburg and holds an MFA from Umeå Academy of Fine Arts, including a term in performative studies at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna. Working across sculpture, performance, drawing and painting, she makes hybrid bodies that look at the political ecology of objects.

Her work is held in collections including Göteborgs Stad, the Marc Müller Collection, Berlin, and the Irrgang Collection, Leipzig. She was awarded the Artists Inside Fellowship (2021) and the Trauma Bar und Kino residency (2023), and has worked as an assistant to Anna Uddenberg.
